AMPED in the Park // Lakecia Benjamin “we Dream” Album Release Show

This June 4, turn up the volume and kick back at AMPED in the Park, our free outdoor Color Burst Park concert series featuring live music, great company, and local eats. Gather your crew, grab a bite and a drink from one of Merriweather District’s amazing restaurants, and unwind with great tunes under the evening sky.

This year’s AMPED in the Park kicks off with a special album release show from six-time GRAMMY nominee Lakecia Benjamin, an alto saxophonist, MC, and bandleader known for her captivating live performances. Her acclaimed albums Phoenix and Pursuance: The Coltranes have firmly established her as one of jazz’s foremost artists, earning praise from The New York Times, The Guardian, and DownBeat. Her latest album, We Dream, will be released on June 5.
