Come out for a day of inspiration at the 10th Annual Books in Bloom festival! Whether you’re a book lover, a creator, or just looking for a fun day out in the Merriweather District, there is something for everyone. This year, we’re celebrating the next generation of voices with live performances, hands-on workshops, and great vibes.

Festival Highlights:

• Main Stage Stars: Catch a live interview and book signing with Jason Reynolds (Coach), plus a lineup of incredible local authors.
• Get Creative: Visit our CreatorLabs to try your hand at podcasting, illustration, video storytelling, or poetry.
• Performances and Readings: Experience “Generation Verse”—featuring powerful spoken word and readings by local students—plus live podcast recordings and panel discussions.
• Community Fun: “Plant” a book in our Reading Garden, explore the Children’s Zone (face painting and crafts!)
• Sip & Shop: Enjoy signature cocktails, local food, and a flower truck while browsing the outdoor bookstore and local vendor booths.
