Columbia, MD: Ranked #4 City For Young Families
GoBankingRates.com recently named its top 10 cities for young families while addressing how it’s hard for many to find their footing due to schools, cost of living expenses, and property costs. Columbia was named the fourth best city, following only Naperville, Illinois, The Woodlands, Texas, and Arlington, Virginia.
Leveraging data from Niche.com, which honored Columbia, Maryland as the #13 Best Place to Raise a Family, GoBankingRates.com expanded the study to incorporate schooling and property data courtesy of Zillow to determine the 10 Best Cities for Young Families. Our communities’ top-ranked schools, flourishing hub of arts and culture, recreational activities, and green space including Color Burst Park and Lake Kittamaqundi distinguish the region. Downtown Columbia is honored to receive this recognition.
