Columbia, Maryland, is consistently ranked by WalletHub as one of the happiest places to live in America out of 182 locations in the United States.
The annual study compares 30 key indicators of happiness, ranging from the depression rate to the income-growth rate to average leisure time spent per day. Year to year, Columbia has consistently ranked high in categories that measure emotional and physical well-being, and for its community and environment. Merriweather District adds to the region, delivering a great place to live, work, and play.
