Howard Hughes transfers land to Howard County For Lakefront Park Named After WWII Veteran Millie Bailey
Howard Hughes has transferred land to Howard County for a Lakefront District park dedicated to 102-year-old veteran Vivian C. “Millie” Bailey. Bailey served with the U.S. Women’s Army Auxiliary in WWII.
The park includes a playground for kids, water fountains and the future home of the Howard County Veterans Monument.
